Individual And Group Workshops

  • New Moon Meditation

Duration: 2 -3 hrs in late evening after dark
    Participants: Maximum 25
    Prerequisite: Loose, flowing clothes

We will meditate on this dark night on the feminine energy of the moon that is not visible yet powerful. As we open our heart chakra, we absorb this cooling, soothing energy to balance our own feminine energy and bring our cycle in synchronicity with Nature. As the moon enters the new phase, we will get rid of old patterns and impressions, and make our own affirmations for a new start. We will share this energy with everyone around us, in our lives and with the Universe. Wear loose, comfortable clothes and allow yourself to be swayed by the energy hidden in this dark night.

  • Full Moon Meditation (2 -3 hrs)

Duration: 2 -3 hrs in late evening after dark
    Participants: Maximum 25
    Prerequisite: Loose, flowing clothes

We will meditate on this full moon night on the feminine energy of the moon that is reflected from the sun. Wear loose, comfortable clothes and allow yourself to be swayed by the powerful energy of this beautiful night.

  • Discover and Heal Yourself (Parts 1, 2 and 3)

Duration: Each part 3 hrs any time during the day
    Participants: Maximum 20
    Prerequisite: An open mind

We are the sum total of our swabhav (our true self). This swabhav disappears into the background and layers are added as we live our life. We struggle, we are stressed, and we have conflicts and confusion. Heal yourself by discovering your own self and living in accordance with your swabhav. This is at three levels, physical, mental and spiritual. Each of the three parts is unique and stands on its own. You may attend as per your own need and prior experience. Attending all three will give you a complete understanding of your swabhav.

Part 1 (3 hrs) We live our life through our physical body. Each body is unique. Every cell in our body is affected by what we eat, drink, breathe, wear and apply. We have our own unique dosha (characteristic). Discover your dosha and live in accordance with it. Food is the medicine of the healthy, medicine is the food of the sick. Are you healthy or sick? Let us find out.

Part 2 (3 hrs) Our mind rules almost every action and aspect of our life. It tells us what to do. It is the master, we are the slave. It rules over our heart. What is karma? How does karma arise? How does it accumulate? How do we get out of the mind? In Zen we call it ‘no mind’. What is meditation? Can we ‘do’ meditation? Let us move from meditation to mindfulness, as we go higher on the path of discovering our swabhav, and further along the path of self healing.

Part 3 (3 hrs) As we go further along this journey of self discovery, we rise higher and higher. Our chakras start to open up. Our energy starts to get tuned at higher frequencies. We seek the company of other similar energies. We start to synchronize ourself with the Universe and move in tandem with Nature. We become one with Nature. Understand your chakras and how they affect your daily life and how they take you to the highest spiritual levels. Understand the power of kundalini and the tantric interplay of male and female energies, as they interact to create the beautiful Cosmic Dance.

  • The Cosmic Dance (Shiva and Shakti interaction)

Duration: 2 hours, any time during the day
    Participants: Maximum 20
    Prerequisite: An open mind

Shiva and Shakti personify creation itself through the interaction of their male and female energies. Shakti is Umadevi, the Goddess, the consort. Shiva is the paramour. Their interaction gives rise to the Cosmic Dance that continues eternally. We will gain an introduction to this interplay, by understanding the chakras, the kundalini and the potent energy coiled up inside each of us. There will be playful interaction between the participants. Loose and comfortable clothing, an open mind and a willingness to let go of our past conditioning is necessary.

  • ‘Living in Awareness and with Gratitude’

Duration: 2 -3 hrs late evening
    Participants: Maximum 20
Prerequisite: Loose, flowing clothes and blindfolds.

Bring your focus from the outside to the inside. Recognize yourself for who you are. Ask the question, “Who Am I”, and you will get the answer “I am That”. Accept this awareness and live your life with this, fully empowered and enriched, free of all external shackles and boundaries. The only limit is your own self, and that is limitless because you are one with the Universe. With this awareness comes the acceptance of everything the way they are, without the constant stress of ‘the way they should be’. Recognize the abundance that you already have and give gratitude for the same. Life is not about seeking more. Life is about accepting what you have and sharing it. Multiply your abundance by sharing.

  • The Sound of One Hand Clapping

Duration: 2 hours, any time during the day except immediately before or after meals
    Participants: Maximum 20
Prerequisite: Some experience with sitting in meditation

This is the essence of Zen philosophy at its best. If you can feel the sound of one hand clapping, you have achieved Nirvana. This is one of the best known koans in Zen. It paraphrases the entire philosophy of non duality and no – mind into a simple koan. You are one with the Universe. There is no other. This is a highly evolved teaching requiring tremendous perseverence and patience and silence and non activity from participants. This can only be done in a sitting meditation pose grounded to Mother Earth.

  • You are not the doer, just be the witness

Duration: 2 hours, any time of the day
    Participants: Maximum 20
    Prerequisite: An open mind

Do you believe in free will? Do you believe in destiny? Do you believe in both? How do thoughts and actions and results interact? Who decides what, for whom, and how? Give up your doership, and sit back and enjoy the show! The movie is already in the can. Watch the next scene roll by. This is the essence of advaitya or non duality and the essence of the only words uttered by the Buddha after he attained Nirvana.

Voice of the Heart sounds interesting. Yes, most people are conditioned to live and act from the mind in a logical, robotic, mechanized way. Any time I have not followed my heart, I have always regretted.

  • Chakra Healing / Balancing

Duration: 3 hours, any time during the day
    Participants: Maximum 20
    Prerequisites: An open mind

The 7 chakras are the energy centers in our aura. These chakras work individually and in tandem with each other. Each chakra has its own significance and role, and any blockage can be a cause for lack of harmony. Sounds, colors, symbols, nutrition all affect the chakras in different ways. This will be a combination of an interactive discussion workshop followed by group and individual healing sessions. It could be done over a single day with about 12 – 15 people, but scheduling individual sessions for all will spill it to the 2nd day. They do not need to bring anything, just themselves.

  • Tantra, The Essence of Life (Level 1)

    Duration: 3 hrs
    Participants: Maximum 25
Prerequisite: An open mind, loose comfortable clothes, blindfolds.

Tantra is Life itself, yet greatly misunderstood in the West. It is the beginning and the end. It is the essence of manifestation, embodiment of Shiva and Shakti, the male and female energies complementing and enriching each other to achieve the ultimate, oneness with the Universe. Maya, the illusory world in which we spend our entire lifetime, disappears in this unity with the Supreme. We will discuss and understand the chakras that embody this energy, the process of kundalini rising up and the orgasmic state of being from where we came and where we will go back. The five senses and the five elements will come together to create a sensory perception that we rarely experience. We will gain an insight to the sacred relationship between spirituality and sexuality.

There will be elements of meditation through ‘letting go’ and ‘dropping off’, playful interaction through simple dance movements allowing our body, mind and spirit to come together. We will conclude with Cosmic Dance.

  • Tantra, The Essence of Life (Level 2)

    Duration: 3 hrs
    Participants: Maximum 25
Prerequisite: Attended Level 1. An open mind, loose comfortable clothes, blindfolds.

We will continue on the journey of Tantra, building upon the basics we learnt in Level 1. We will explore further and deeper into ourselves, our mind, body and spirit. We will learn to respect and worship our bodies, recognize the potent sexual energy that ebbs and flows and is the channel for all healing. The yin and yang of all existence and manifestation will come forth through our own body, mind and spirit.

There will be elements of deeper meditation and silence, playful interaction and soft exploration of one’s own body, simple partner and group exercises, allowing us to become more comfortable with ourselves and thereby more relaxed and ready for higher experiences. We will conclude with Cosmic Dance.

  • Tantra Meditation

    Duration: 3 hrs
Participants: Maximum 25 and preferably equal number of men and women
Prerequisite: An open mind, some knowledge of Tantra, loose comfortable clothes, blindfolds.

Tantra is life itself, the male and female energies coming together to manifest this Universe and everything in it. We each have both these energies that rise up through the ida and pingala channels. We will meditate on these energies through our chakras, learn about the kundalini, and through some interactive play, bring our energies in synchronicity with the Universe. Shiva and Shakti will come together to create a sensual world of bliss and tranquility, concluding with the Cosmic Dance.

  • The Five Elements (Panch Tattva)

    Duration: 3 hrs
    Participants: Maximum 20
    Prerequisites: An open mind

The entire manifestation started with the sound and vibration of ‘Om’. This gave rise to each of the five elements (Energy, Air, Fire, Water, Earth) that make up the entire creation. The human body and all living beings are made up of these same elements. These elements appear physical, but they are not. We will understand the relationship between these elements, how they interact in nature, and how the human being is affected by them.

  • Tantra, Mantra, Yantra

    Duration: 3 hrs
    Participants: Maximum 20
Prerequisites: Some understanding of Indian philosophy and culture

Tantra, mantra and yantra are the three cornerstones of Indian religious thought and practice. Mantra is the power of sound, Yantra is the power of space and symbols, and Tantra is the essence of creation and life itself. We will discuss the practical aspects of each, their use in daily life, and their impact on our well being and spiritual journey.

  • Yoga, A Way of Life

    Duration: 3 hrs
    Participants: Maximum 20
Prerequisites: Some understanding of Indian philosophy and culture, including yoga.

Yoga is now more popular outside India than in India. Yet, this Yoga is generally characterized by and limited to learning and practicing asanas. It has become more of a physical exercise, instead of a philosophy as propounded by Patanjali in his Yoga Sutras. Yoga is a way of life. We will discuss and understand the eight limbs of ashtanga yoga and how asanas are just one of the eight limbs. The Yogi way of life will then become more clear.

  • Reiki Initiation

Pradeep is a Reiki Master in the Usui tradition. He was initiated by his Reiki teacher Sheryl Benson in the USA in 1998. Pradeep traces his lineage to Dr. Usui through his teacher Sheryl Benson. He shares this healing wisdom through initiations on a very selective basis. Each group is limited to six participants.

    First Degree Initiation

This is done in one day and usually takes about six hours. The maximum number of students in one initiation is limited to six. The requirements are as follows:

    • At least one individual treatment session one week before the initiation.
    • No consumption of meat or any animal products one week before the initiation.
    • Loose, comfortable clothes in natural fiber (cotton, linen etc.)

This is done in one day and usually takes about 5 hours. The maximum number of students in one initiation is limited to six. The requirements are as follows:

    • First Degree initiation with Pradeep
    • 21 days cleansing period after First Degree initiation.

Reiki is not a commodity that can be purchased in the market at the lowest price. It comes from the heart and therefore there can be no price attached to it. In the ageless Ashram tradition of India, Pradeep shares his healing and experience and wisdom on a donation basis that comes from the heart. Just as there is only one form of Yoga, there is only one form of Reiki, and this is the traditional Usui Reiki that is practiced by Pradeep.
